WORKSPACE: ALLDRIN PHOTOGRAPHY

Inspired by her love for all things shabby chic and thrifty, Hanna Alldrin of Alldrin Photography wanted to create a studio space that felt "comfortable and homey." So about a year ago, with help from her husband and friends, Alldrin Photography Studio became a reality.

Hanna's Alldrin Photography logo served as the studio color scheme inspiration of gray and lime green. She also chose gray because it works well as an alternate backdrop to white walls.

In an effort to stay on budget and true to the shabby chic inspiration, Hanna acquired all studio decorations and furniture from thrift stores, yard sales, consignment shops and salvage yards.

Hanna writes, "As time goes on I still shop for thrift prop items for my clients to use during sessions. I use DROP IT MODERN backdrops because they add some spice to my space and images."

More photos from Hanna's studio can be found here on her blog!

WORKSPACE: Jennifer Warthan

Farm wife, mama and photographer Jennifer Warthan of Warthan Farms Photography works from her 1860's Virginia home.

Truth be told, Jennifer's workspace extends into the great outdoors of her farm. On her Facebook page she writes,

In fact, most of her sessions are shot on the farm. Jennifer says, "There is always something new with each season...makes things interesting!"

How's that for a breathtaking workspace?

Thank you Jennifer for sharing your glorious farm with Have An Epiphanie!

WORKSPACE // Tracy Allyn Photography

To keep creativity flowing, you need a proper space. A space that encourages you to thrive and produce your best work. With this in mind, we thought it would be fun to feature creative + stimulating workspaces here on our blog.

Our very first workspace feature is Studio Plus, a home studio for photographer Tracy Allyn Croysdale of Tracy Allyn Photography. Designed by her husband and architect Robert Croysdale, Tracy's studio was completed in February 2011.

Tracy writes, "Every morning I wake up and step in the space to edit it makes me happy. All new construction but attached to our home, it is only about 700 sq feet but perfect for me."

"The back wall is glass windows and door and there is a window above the blue chaise, I just have blackout roll down blinds on all the windows in the studio.  That way I can shoot natural light or with studio lighting. But it is great to have the windows open when I'm editing on cool days like today so I can hear my wind chimes and the birds."

What a beautiful, vibrant space! Thanks for sharing it with us, Tracy!
